Doug and his wife, Ramona, live in Pittsburgh, PA, along with two Boston Terriers, Hurley and Abigail.  Doug is the senior minister of Smithfield United Church of Christ, located in downtown Pittsburgh.  He has been building guitars for just a few years and has attended three sessions at the Nazareth Guitar Institute under the tutelage of Dale Unger and Tyler Unger.
